Electrode Preferences > Base > Base Type
Access: Invoke this function from one of the following locations:

Select the Preferences button
from the Quick Access Toolbar, or -
Select Tools > Main Tools > Preferences from the menu bar.
Navigate to Electrode > Base > Base Type.
Define the default electrode base type.
The Base Type dialog is displayed.

Select the checkbox to create a wireframe electrode base as default.

Press the appropriate approval option.
