Saving Customization Profiles

Access: Open this function from one of the following locations:

Select View > Customize > Customize Toolbars & Menus from the menu bar.
Right-click anywhere in the menu bar or toolbar and select Customize Toolbars & Menus.

Cimatron enables you to save your workspace settings as a Customization Profile to a CUI (*.cui) file for backup purposes. These files can then be retrieved by Loading Customization Profiles. The *.cui files are stored by default in the following folder:

...\ProgramData\Cimatron\Cimatron\2026.0\Data\Schemes\Customization_Profiles

Interaction

InvokeInvoke (for more, click Access at the top of this Help topic) the Customize Toolbars & Menu dialog.

Click the Save Customization Profile button in the dialog. The Save As dialog is displayed showing the default save folder mentioned above.

Name the file and save.

Notes:

The system automatically opens the default Customization_Profiles folder.
To restore the default system profile, select the Reset All command from the Cimatron Control Panel. This resets the entire user customization to the default settings. This includes: toolbars, menus, and panes (position, size, visibility, order, etc.).
