When and How to Request Reconfiguration

Machine reconfiguration is requested by setting the REQUEST_RECONFIG system flag to TRUE_. This tells GPP2 that machine reconfiguration is required.

Machine re-configuration is a delicate and complex topic. There are only several points where the EX2 program can request re-configuration. In other places, the flag is ignored.

• In the BEGINNING OF CONNECT Block
• In the LINEAR MOTION Block
• Between CYCLE Block
