Sequence Definition

In this step, the cutting strategy is defined according to the part type (punch/die) and Remnant parameter.

Some fields is displayed disabled in relation with the previous parameters defined by the user and the system will automatically select the Cutting method according to the entry motion defined on the geometry.

• The As stop check box will allow the user to define a stop point, at the distance defined in the Remnant field, before exiting the contour. The stop will only be applied in the Complete Roughing process.

• The system will apply the Remnant skimmings option according to the user setting. It can also be defined if the Complete Skimming processes must be done inverting the cutting direction and if it must be sorted by phases (only available working with Multi Geometry).

• Cutting method: if a remnant distance is defined, different options is displayed depending on the Cutting Method selection.

  • Punch style: parameters in relation with remnant skimming will be displayed
  • Die style: AutoFix panel will be allowed as long as it is available for this technology and, in this case, all geometrical requirements are complied. See AutoFix for more.
• For die and opened contours, if no remnant is defined, you can group all processes generated by the Wizard in a phase.
