Step 1a - Creating a New Part

1. Click the New File iconsNew File icons in the Icon Toolbar or select File > New File.
   There are four document types within Cimatron:
   

   

   

2. From this menu, select New Part file mm and click OK.

   Once the units of measure have been set, they cannot be changed.
