Launching Cimatron
Welcome to the Cimatron Environment tutorial! The tutorial is designed to guide you through the main principles of the Cimatron environment.
The first section in the tutorial deals with basic aspects of opening a Cimatron document and the Cimatron Explorer.
Next, the Cimatron environment is discussed as well as on-screen options, such as the menu bars, icons, and mouse functions.
Within Cimatron, there are several ways you can select and capture what appears on the screen.
In the Sets and M-View chapter, the creation of groups containing specific geometric entities is discussed together with the creation of user-defined views of entities that include a profile of parameters.
The final two chapters deal with the interaction within Cimatron. The Sketcher is the graphic environment used by Cimatron to create 2D parametric geometry. The following topics will be covered:
Part 1 - Editing within the Sketcher
Part 2 - Additional editing functions and the solid building function
