Loft
: Between Faces
Access: Open this function from the following location:
-
Select Solid > Creation > Loft from the menu bar.
Create a new object that interpolates a series of sections.
Create a Loft between faces.

Practice: Press the button below to open Cimatron with a practice ELT file similar to that used to create the movie (if the relevant feature already exists in the ELT file, you can either edit it or delete it and create a new feature). |

Required Step 1

A loft is created between the two faces (Free): |
On picking the 3rd face, the Open/Close toggle option appears. Selecting Close creates a closed Solid body. In this case the 1st and last edge slopes can be set to Free or Constant during the Optional Step. Example.
If required, toggle Single Face to Multi Faces to create a number of faces. Generally the resulting face geometry is lighter and allows for better performance. Example.
