Cimatron Performance Improvement Settings

Effect:

Refresh rate improvement.
 

Access:

Select View > Settings > Display Settings from the Cimatron menu bar.

Details: In the Display Settings dialog (Display Accuracy section), use the slider to reduce the display quality (move the slider towards "Higher Performance"), as required.

Limitation: The display will appear as less smooth.
 

Effect:

Refresh rate improvement.
 

Access:

Select View > Settings > Display Settings from the Cimatron menu bar.

Details: In the Display Settings dialog (expand the dialog to show the Improve ZPR Smoothness section), select the option Enable automatic entity hide during ZPR to improve performance (speed).

Limitation: In dynamic ZPR, some figures and small triangles may disappear.
 

Effect:

Document load time improvement.
 

Access:

Select Tools > Preferences > General > Display > Save & Load display mesh from the Cimatron menu bar.

Details: Select to save the mesh instead of re-faceting on each load.

Limitation: Increases the disk space usage.
