Die Design Menu: Blanking Tools

Access: Open this group of functions from the following location:

Select Die Design > Blanking Tools from the menu bar. Select the required function.

This group of functions enables you to perform Blanking operations.

The following functions are available in this group:

	Blank	Create or edit the blank for the electrode, using finite element analysis (FEA).
	Die Skin	Create a skin (with no thickness) from an object. This enables clear and easy analysis of operations in the system.
	Show Analysis	Show the results of the finite element analysis (such as thickness strain and safety zone ranges) on a part where a blank has been created. This function can only be used on a file where a blank has already been created.
	Unfold	Create flat faces from a simple given 3D model (containing planar & cylindrical faces).
