Initial Toolbars

The default Toolbar area (displayed at the top of the Cimatron window) contains a number of toolbars that provide easy access to the most commonly used functions and also the online Help (F1). The toolbars that are displayed depend on the currently active file type. The toolbar layout can be customized (added, removed, and positioned) as required.

The initial toolbars (when no files are open) contain the following buttons:

Tools that can be Journaled are highlighted with an orange icon when Journaling is enabled. For more, see Journaling.

Create a new Part file in MM or INCH.

Create a new Assembly file in MM or INCH.

Create a new Drafting file in MM or INCH.

Create a new NC file in MM or INCH.

Open an existing Cimatron file.

Create a new Parting Project using the Parting Setup Wizard.

Create a new Mold Project using the Mold Setup Wizard.

Create a new Electrode Project using the Electrode Setup Wizard.

Create a new Transfer Die using the Transfer Die Setup Wizard.

Create a new Progressive Die using the Progressive Die Setup Wizard.

Once you have opened a file, default toolbars are initially displayed. Some of these toolbars are specific to the Cimatron application you have opened. All toolbars can be customized as required.
