Local Clear Height
Local Clear Height |
The tool tip retracts to Local Clear value above the drill point (feed and then rapid) along the tool axis. If the next drill point uses the same orientation, the motion would be in a plane perpendicular to the tool axis straight to the point above (the tool axis orientation) the next drill point. If the next drill point uses a different orientation, at this point the tool straightens up according to the procedure UCS, then climbs to the Absolute Clear Plane (parallel to XY), moves on this plane to the point above the local clear of the next drill point, plunges (rapid) to this point, changes the orientation, plunges (rapid) along tool axis to the delta retract above the drill point. This parameter only appears in the Clearance parameter table for the Automated Drill 5x procedure. |
