Points On Curve

Access: Open this function from the following location:

Select Wireframe > Point> Points On Curve from the menu bar.

Create multiple points at even intervals on a curve or edge.

Note: Points are created according to the Active Style Settings for curves. The line width, color, etc. of selected points can be changed as required.

Demo: Press the button below to view a short movie demonstrating the function:	Practice: Press the button below to open Cimatron with a practice ELT file similar to that used to create the movie (if the relevant feature already exists in the ELT file, you can either edit it or delete it and create a new feature).

General Interaction

The following image shows the Feature Guide for Point - On Curve.

Tip: You can open the Feature Guide at any time by right-clicking the mouse in the graphic display area.

Required Step 1 : Pick the desired reference curve or edge and <exit><exit>(middle mouse button).

Required Step 2 : Pick the reference point on the picked curve and edit the quantity and spacing parameters.
