Modeling Preferences > Long Screw Thread
Access: Invoke this function from one of the following locations:

Select the Preferences button
from the Quick Access Toolbar, or
-
Select Tools > Main Tools > Preferences from the menu bar.
Navigate to Modeling > Long Screw Thread.
Define how a screw cuts a plate if the screw extends beyond the plate.
Note: This is relevant only to a screw that has a defined screw cutting rule.
The Long Screw Thread dialog is displayed.

Set the cut behavior:
Thread in Last Plate |
The last part that is intersected by the screw will be cut by the 2nd cutting object and the thread is created. If the screw does not protrude beyond the last plate but reaches the last face of the plate, the last plate will be cut by the 2nd cutting object. |
Through Hole |
The last part that is intersected by the screw will be cut by the 1st cutting object and no thread is created. This is the default option. |
