NC Templates Explorer

Access: Open this function from the following location:

Select NC Utilities > Templates > Templates Manager from the menu bar.

The Cimatron NC Templates Explorer is similar in operation and functionality to the Cimatron Explorer; however, the NC Templates Explorer is specifically designed for accessing and managing NC template files.

Address Bar

Navigation buttons

	Back: Takes you back to the previous location in the Folder Tree.
	Forward: Becomes active when pressing the Back button and takes you to your previous location in the Folder Tree (before the Back icon was pressed).
	Up One Level: Takes you up one level in the Folder Tree.

Toolbar

	Add a new folder
	Display the Folder pane
	Display the Search pane
	Display the Catalog parameters
	Display the Properties pane
	Change View Switch between different views of files, either by toggling the Change View button or by selecting the required view in the dropdown list.
	Refresh Refresh the display.
	Help Display the Help for the NC Templates Explorer.

Folder Tree

The Folder Tree pane lists all default folders. For each of these folders, use the Filter to control the display of the folder contents.

File Control

The File Control pane displays a list of NC templates, depending on the folder selected in the Folder Tree pane. This is the default pane and lists four levels:

Procedures – Lists all procedures (short names) and associated cutters - if the procedure uses multi cutters, the first cutter is displayed and the number of additional cutter is shown in brakcets “(+n)”.

Properties

The Properties pane displays attribute information for a file selected from the File Control pane. You can add additional information as needed for finding/identifying your files. This information can be used as search criteria when running a query.

Command Control

The Command Control pane displays the template file name, file type, and buttons specific to the operation selected.
