Set Horizontal Faces 
Access: Invoke this function from the following location:

Select Analysis > NC Tools > Set Horizontal Faces from the menu bar.
Create a Set consisting only of horizontal faces. Sets are used to create groups of specific geometric entities. In this case, horizontal faces are considered as those that are parallel to the XY plane of the active UCS.
The default name for the newly created set is Horizontal Faces.
Notes:

The set can be selected for any NC procedure.

The set can be saved as a Template.
How to create the Horizontal Faces Set:
The image below shows the Sets dialog before running Set Horizontal Faces.

Select Analyze > Set Horizontal Faces.
A new set, called Horizontal Faces, is created.
This set consists only of horizontal faces. Use the Sets tools to manipulate the display.
