Cutting Objects Dialog: Rectangular Cut Pane
The Cutting Objects dialog appears in Required Step 3 of the Trimming Punch function. This topic describes the Rectangular Cut pane of the Cutting Objects dialog.
In the Cutting Objects dialog, pressing the Expand/Collapse /
toggle button, displays the Rectangular Cut Parameters pane (marked in red below). This pane enables you to define values for each pocket in every plate.

The Cutting Objects dialog includes the following The part name selected in the Plates pane of the dialog, is also displayed in the Rectangular Cut pane. In the example below, as the Die Shoe was selected in the Plates pane of the dialog, it is also displayed here. See below for the parameter descriptions of the Plates pane. |
Parameters
The parameters are as shown in the pane diagram:

Bounding Box Offset |
Create the rectangular cut according to the bounding box of the picked face. The W and L dimension boxes are dimmed if the Bounding Box option is used, but they show the real dimensions. |

Specify Dimensions |
Create the rectangular cut according to the dimensions specified. All dimension boxes are available and can be edited as required. The Round up values checkbox is dimmed and cannot be used. |

If this checkbox is marked, the values in the dimension boxes are rounded up by the number in the Value field. For example,in the picture below the checkbox is not selected and the values are as shown:
