The Plates Area contains the straight cutting objects. It includes the following information:

Hide or show the selected part in the assembly. |

Cut |
Select this checkbox to include the part in the cut operation. By default, the checkbox is marked as selected for all parts with predefined attributes, which means that are automatically included in the cut. |

Offset (mm) |
The offset is of the cut is derived from the die Setup. You can change these figures any time by clicking in the column. |

Attribute |
The attributes are defined in the Assign Comp. feature. |
|
Part Name |
Contains the name of the part. |
|
Rec. Cut |
Select this checkbox to create a rectangular cut. This checkbox is automatically selected for the die backing plate and the bottom die shoe. When this checkbox is selected, the Rectangular Pocket Parameters area of the Matrix/Die Plates Area is expanded to display parameters specific to rectangular cutting. Set these parameters as required. |
