Operation Manager : Editing Procedure Parameters 

Access: Open this function from one of the following locations:

View, Edit, and Update one or more parameters for certain procedures in a single operation in the Operation Manager.

The procedure is the same whether you are editing a single or multiple procedures.

Multiple Selection in the NC Operation Manager

  1. Non-Consecutive Selection: To select non-consecutive entries, press the Shift key and the left mouse button.

  2. Consecutive Selection: To select consecutive entries, click and hold the left mouse button while dragging; there is no need to use the Shift or Ctrl keys. If you keep dragging past the window, the procedure list will scroll. When several procedures are selected, you can right-click the mouse to access options such as Delete or Comment for the entire selection. If you click/hold/drag the left mouse button when directly over the Operation Manager light bulb icons, you can quickly hide or show many procedures on the screen at once.

  3. Deselection: Click in the table without holding down a key to deselect your current selection.

Change Parameter

  1. Select one or more procedures in the Operation Manager.

  2. Use the function buttons to select which operation to perform on the selected values—the options are Set Value, Add Value, Subtract Value, Multiply by, Divide by, Replace Cutter (if a cutter parameter is selected), and Set Color.

    The Multi-Edit dialog that is displayed depends on the function button that was used.

    • If one of the calculation functions was clicked (Set Value, Add Value, Subtract Value, Multiply by, Divide by), a field is displayed for you to enter a numerical value.
    • If Replace Cutter was clicked, the Cutters Table is displayed. Make your selection and close the Cutters Table to return to the multi-editor dialog.
    • If Set Color was clicked, a palette dialog allows selection of the color and line width. Make your selection and close the palette to return to the multi-editor dialog.
  3. After you have entered the new value, you have three options

    1. Click  to apply the changes and close the Multi-Edit dialog. The new parameter values are copied to the procedures.
    2. Click  to apply the changes and leave the Multi-Edit dialog open for further editing.
    3. Click  to close the Multi-Edit dialog without implementing any changes.
