2.5 Axes > Safe Closed Profile

Cut along the edges of open contours.

Creating the Safe Closed Profile procedure

See Creating a Procedure for a general explanation.

For Technology, choose 2.5 Axes as the main selection and Safe Closed Profile as the subselection.

Choose the appropriate cutter .

Define the geometry to be used during the procedure operation.

Define the following Motion Parameters:

• Approach & Retract

• Clearance & UCS

• Entry & End Points

• Boundary Settings

• Tolerance & Surf. Offset

• Tool Trajectory

• Shank & Holder

• Stock

Define the Machine Parameters.

When finished, you can choose from the following Work Mode Dialog buttons:

• Save & Close to suspend

• Save & Calculate to execute

• Save Original

• Cancel
