Split Silhouette
: Options and Results
Access: Open this function from the following location:

Select Faces > Modify Faces > Split Silhouette from the menu bar.
Split faces by silhouette curves based on a "lighting" direction.
Required Step 1 
Pick the face and define the direction.
Optional Step 1 
Set the draft angle value.
The selected face is split by the silhouette curve that is created.
Click OKOK
or ApplyApply
in the Feature Guide to complete the function.
When completed, the Split Silhouette will appear in the Feature Tree as follows:
Notes:
-
If one or more faces cannot be split by silhouette curves, they are ignored.

If no faces can be split by silhouette curves, the function merely creates Silhouette curves.
