Conic Shank

Conic cutters can be used in Rough, Re-Rough, and Finish procedures.

It is possible to check the shank (mostly conic shank) or holder against the surfaces of the part with controlled safety margins (vertical and radial).

Finish Procedure - Ignore Holder

1. Open the Conic_Shank.elt file.

2. View the first procedure (F-Slope_9) in the first toolpath.
   

3. Edit the procedure. Notice the Holder parameter as shown in the following image:
   

The Holder Ignore option enables users to create a complete toolpath. However, Holder and Shank are ignored.
