Prevent Waterfall - Advanced Surface Offset Per Check Surface Group

  1. View the F-slope_14 procedure.

  2. Edit the procedure. View the Tolerance and Surface Offset settings.
Use advanced offset per each check surface.

The first group is composed of the top surfaces: Positive floor offset or zero and negative wall offset. This combination is used in order to lift the top surfaces but prevent under-machining.

The second group is composed of the wall surfaces: Positive wall offset or zero and negative floor offset.

In this way, we can control the toolpath's behavior for each group of check faces.

This is not an automatic operation and may need some iterations. However, it provides much more control over the results.
