Shaped Cutter

1. Open the shaped1.elt file.

2. Show the revolve object.
   .

3. Edit the second procedure, Curve -3X.
   

4. Define a new cutter with these parameters:
   Technology = Special
   Type = Shaped

5. Click the Select Revolved Body button.
   

6. Select the revolved body in the display area.
   
   The revolved body is used as the cutter.

7. Select a holder for this cutter.
   
   

8.  You can click the Flip Tool Tip Side button to flip and correct the orientation if needed. 
   
   

9. Select the point indicated by the arrow in the following image to place the cutter:
   
   The shaped cutter can also be simulated in the Machine Simulator.

10. Close the file without saving it.
