You may use multiple offsets in order to control the toolpath better.
There are many cases where you need to offset a specific toolpath area with a different value.
There are also cases where you want a few levels of check surface offsets.
Overall, there are six (6) different part offsets and four (4) check surface offsets.
Standard TP
Load the Multi Offset.elt file.
View the first Finish procedure (F-All-1-none).
In this toolpath, standard NC motions are created and there are no special offset groups.
Edit the procedure. Note that there is one part surface group containing 38 surfaces.
Only one offset is defined. The toolpath follows the given geometry (RED, LIGHT BLUE, and BLUE surfaces).
