Assembly Copy
: Editing
The following editing operations are available to Assembly Copy:
Undo/Redo
Undo is available and will delete all added components together with their Cut & Thread operations. Features in the Feature Tree will also be deleted.
Redo is not available.
Associativity of the Assembly Copy
-
The transformation of the added components to their Target UCS is associative to the transformation of the original components to the Reference UCS.
-
Changing the transformation of one of the original parts (by editing Connect or Move/Rotate) will regenerate the Connects feature of the added components.
-
If one of the original components is deleted its added component will be disconnected from the group and will be like any other part in the assembly.
-
If the one or more of the Connects features of the copied parts are deleted, this part will be disconnected from the group and will not be associative any more.
-
Editing the Target UCSs will regenerate the position of the added components.
-
Deleting the Reference UCS will make the group un-editable.
-
Deleting one or more of the Target UCSs will make their Connect "Rerouted" and the group will be un-editable.
