View Attributes - Assembly View 
Access: The View Attributes dialog can be accessed using one of the following methods:

Right-click the Sheet item
in the Drawing Tree and select Set View Attributes from the popup submenu.

Right-click the View item
in the Drawing Tree and select Set View Attributes from the popup submenu.

Double-click the Attributes item
in the Drawing Tree.

Click the View Attributes button
in the View Creation dialog.

Select Sheet > View Attributes from the Drafting menu bar.
If a view of an assembly is created, the name section of the Assembly Tree is also displayed in the View Attributes dialog and additional options appear at the bottom of the dialog (highlighted in the example below).
Stretch this dialog as required to view the tree components. For an explanation of the regular parameters of this dialog, see View Attributes. This topic describes the additional parameters that are displayed for assembly views.
To display the assembly tree in the View Attributes dialog, invoke the dialog in one the following ways (after a view of an assembly has been created):

Right-click the View item
in the Drawing Tree and select Set View Attributes from the popup submenu.

Right-click a View item in the Drawing Tree and select Edit from the popup submenu. The View Creation Edit dialog is displayed. Click the View Attributes button
in the View Creation Edit dialog.
Expand / Collapse /
appears in the View Attributes dialog and by toggling this button, the Name section of the assembly tree is displayed allowing you to navigate through each sub-assembly and control their individual parameters.
The View Attributes button is displayed next to the name of a sub-assembly that has been modified. Sub-assemblies that have been hidden in the Part Filter will be grayed out in the View Attributes dialog and cannot be modified. These are shown in the dialog below.

Dialog parameters
These parameters appear at the bottom of the View Attributes dialog.
Override changes to sub-assemblies and parts |
If the parent assembly is selected, this parameter is available. Selecting it overrides all the attributes assigned to individual sub-assemblies with the attributes of the Assembly. |
Highlight component in view |
Select this checkbox to highlight each assembly selected in the graphics area. |
Tree Popup Menu Parameters
These parameters appear by right-clicking the relevant item in the assembly tree in the View Attributes dialog. For example:
Copy Component Attributes |
Copy the attribute definitions of the selected component. This option is only available when a single component is selected, not a folder (assembly or instance folder). It is possible to copy and paste view attributes within the same view and also between views. |
Paste Component Attributes |
Paste the copied attributes to all selected components. Single or multiple components can be selected. This option is available only after something was copied. In addition to components, this option is also available for folders (assembly and instance folders). It is possible to copy and paste view attributes within the same view and also between views. |
Clear Component Attributes |
Clear the attribute definition of all selected components. Single or multiple components can be selected. In addition to components, this option is also available for folders (assembly and instance folders). |
Clear Branch Attributes |
Clear the attributes of all the entities in the folder branch. This option is only available for a single assembly or instance folder. |
Click OK to apply the selected attributes.
