5X Projection > Gouge Check
The Gouge Check tab is displayed.
The gouge checking option looks at the generated toolpath and the defined geometries to decide whether the tool components are gouging the surfaces. If a gouge is found, the system reacts according to the user settings (defined in the Strategy and parameters section of the tab).
The resulting toolpath is used for checking the next stage and so on.
The gouge checking is supported for all tool types.

To display additional parameters, click the relevant tab in the dialog image below.
