Export to NC
: Editing
Export a part (from a Cimatron Part file) or multiple parts or sub-assembly (from a Cimatron Assembly file) to a single Cimatron NC (Subtractive Manufacturing) file for post-printing operations, such as milling, drilling, etc.
When files have been exported to NC, the NC environment is loaded and the Import from Part/Assembly function is invoked.
In the Export to NC function, after selecting the required component(s) and pressing OK in the Feature Guide, the NC environment appears and the Import from Part/Assembly function is invoked.
To edit an import feature in the NC environment, Switch to CAD mode, right-click on the ImportModel feature, and select Edit Feature. The Import from Part/Assembly function is invoked; edit the parameters as required.
See Import from Part/Assembly: Editing for additional information.
Make modifications in the current step and/or click the icons for other steps to modify. Press OK or Apply
in the Feature Guide to complete the function.
