Electrode Menu: Add Electrode Tools

Access: Invoke this group of functions from the following location:

Select Electrode > Add Electrode from the menu bar. Select the required function.

This group of functions is used for extracting and adding electrodes.

The following functions are available in this group:

	Add Electrode	Add an existing electrode part. Add an electrode to the assembly. Select the electrode from the Cimatron Explorer. The electrode may be one that was created in the assembly, or it could be an electrode that was created elsewhere. The interaction is identical to the Add Component function in the Assembly application. If the electrode does not exist within the UCS, this adds an electrode and a location in the tree. If the electrode already exists in the UCS, this adds another location to the existing electrode.
	Add Location by Add Component	Add an electrode location (copy an existing electrode and place it on other burn areas). This operation uses the Add Component tool's functionality to position the electrode.
	Add Location by Points or UCS	Add an electrode location (copy an existing electrode and place it on other burn areas). Position the electrode by indicating a point or a UCS.
	Extract Electrode	Extract (create) a new electrode. This involves defining an electrode area which will be the basis for the blank.
