Motion Simulation: Groups Tree Popup Operations

The Motion Simulation Groups Tree popup submenus are displayed by right-clicking on a group in the tree. The popup submenu displayed will depend upon the level of the item selected.

The menus that are displayed are very similar to the equivalent menu in the Assembly Tree popup operations. Only the menu items that are specific to Motion Simulation are detailed here.

Main AssemblyMain Assembly : New Group.

GroupGroup : Attach ComponentsAttach Components(Move selected components to the group. Any component that has an entity selected, will be attached), New Group, PastePaste(Paste a previously Cut sub-assembly into the selected group. See the Cut operations in the various group component popups) , DeleteDelete(Select this option to remove the subassembly from the group, or press the delete key on the keyboard.).

Group - Sub-AssemblyGroup - Sub-Assembly : Collect Children From All GroupsCollect Children From All Groups(Take all the children from all the groups they are in, and place them in the group that the sub-assembly is in), New Group, CutCut(Cut the component from the group. See the Paste operation in the Group popup) .

Group - Instance FolderGroup - Instance Folder : New Group, CutCut(Cut the component from the group. See the Paste operation in the Group popup) .

Group - ComponentGroup - Component : Mark as Spring, Define Springs, Mark as Excluded, New Group, CutCut(Cut the component from the group. See the Paste operation in the Group popup) .
