Transformation By
When performing a Transformation operation "By Parameters", appropriate parameters need to be defined (to signify, for example, the start and destination points or a mirror plane for a transformation). The type of parameters that can be defined are displayed in the Transformation by dropdown list and depend on which Transformation subselection (Copy, Move, Mirror Move or Mirror Copy) is chosen. (This parameter is not displayed if Transformation > Copy Array is selected).
The following parameters are displayed in the dropdown list, depending on which Transformation subselection is chosen:
Geometry |
Perform the transformation operation by picking geometrical entities (to signify, for example, the start and destination points or a mirroring plane for a transformation). If this option is selected, the transformation is not defined by Tool Trajectory parameters and is defined by Geometry. The Transformation by (Tool Trajectory) parameters and Transformation by Geometry parameters toggle each other, in the sense that if the Transformation by (Tool Trajectory) = Geometry, the Transformation by Geometry parameters are automatically displayed, and if the Transformation by Geometry = No, the Transformation by (Tool Trajectory) parameters are displayed. This option is displayed for all Transformation subselections. |

Values |
Perform the transformation operation by defining the following parameters:
This option is displayed if Transformation > Copy or Transformation > Move are selected. |

Procedure UCS |
Perform the transformation operation by defining the major plane of the procedure UCS. This plane is used for the mirror transformation operation. If this option is selected, the following parameter is displayed:
This option is displayed if Transformation > Mirror Copy or Transformation > Mirror Move are selected. |
