Delete Leading
/ Trailing Rapid Motions
Access: Open this function from one of the following locations:
Select the required procedure in the Process Manager and then:
The Delete Leading / Trailing Rapid Motions functions delete the Rapid / Max. Feed motions from the beginning and end of a procedure.
If both these functions are run on a procedure, this means that (for this specific procedure) the 1st TP node is at the beginning of the 1st approach and the last TP node is at the end of the last retract of the procedure.
Use these functions to make sure that the Clearance parameter of the next procedure does not contradict the clearance of the Connection procedure.
Delete Leading Rapid Motion |
Delete all the leading rapid motions. Removes a Rapid / Max. Feed motion from the beginning of a procedure. Each time the function is used, another point is removed (until the first Feed motion at the beginning of the first approach).

Delete Trailing Rapid Motion |
Delete the trailing rapid motions. Removes a Rapid / Max. Feed motion from the end of the procedure. Each time the function is used, another point is removed (until the last Feed motion at the end of the last retract). |
Notes:
-
If there are no Rapid / Max. Feed motions to remove, each of the functions issues an appropriate message.
-
After one of the functions is used, the modified procedure is marked with the M flag.
-
The result of using the two functions on a procedure, is similar to running the procedure with the Use Clearance parameter unselected. The Use Clearance parameter appears under Clearance.
-
If the Use Clearance parameter is already unselected, there is no necessity to run these two functions.
