Surface Milling - Legacy Procedures > Horizontal Area Radial

Access:

  1. Create a procedure.

  2. For Technology, choose Surface Milling as the main selection, and Legacy Procedures > Horizontal Area Radial as the subselection.

Horizontal surface milling - optimized. Machine only those areas that are nearly horizontal (up to a user-defined angle).

  1. For Technology, choose Surface Milling as the main selection, and Legacy Procedures > Horizontal Area Radial as the subselection.

  2. Choose the appropriate cutter.

  3. Define the contours, part surfaces and check surfaces.

  4. Define the following Motion Parameters:

  5. Define the Machine Parameters.

  1. When finished, you can choose from the following Work Mode Dialog buttons:

    • Save & Close to suspend

    • Save & Calculate to execute

    • Save Original

    • Cancel
