Quick Color Filter
Access: Open this group of functions from one of the following locations:

Select the required function from the Quick Color Filter dropdown list in the Selection Floating toolbar.

Select Edit > Selection from the menu bar. Select the required function.
Define the options to quickly filter entities by color. Use the Quick Color Filter icons (in the Selection Floating Toolbar) as a short cut for the Selection Filter options. Select from the screen an entity of the desired color or colors, then use the color filter to limit mass selection by only these colors, or all but these colors.
The commands that are available in the Floating toolbar depend on the currently active file type (Part, Assembly, Drafting, or NC Manufacturing).

Using the Quick Color Filter
When invokinginvoking an operation to quick filter by colors, the following icons appear in the Selection Toolbar:

Quick Color Filter options
The function descriptions below are listed in the order they appear in the Filter by Colors pulldown menu in the Selection Toolbar. These functions are also available from the Edit > Selection menu.

Filter by Selected Colors |
Select specific colors and allow only the selection of entities with those colors. For example, if entities colored RED, YELLOW, and PURPLE were preselected before invoking this option, then the Selection Filter only enables the selection of entities with those colors (RED, YELLOW, or PURPLE).

Filter by Not-Selected Colors |
Select specific colors and allow only the selection of entities without those colors. For example, if entities colored RED, YELLOW, and PURPLE were preselected before invoking this option, then the Selection Filter only enables the selection of entities that are NOT RED, YELLOW, or PURPLE.

Filter by Colors - OFF |
Turn color filtering off. This cancels any previously defined color filter option. This basically unselects the Color checkbox in the Attributes tab of the Selection Filter dialog. |
