Only vertical areas are milled, in constant Z down steps.

Hints and tips for Cleanup procedures

Create the Remachine Only Vertical Area procedure

See Creating a Procedure for a general explanation.

1. For Technology, choose Remachine as the main selection, and Legacy Procedures > Only Vertical Area as the subselection.

2. Choose the appropriate cutter.

3. Define the contours, part surfaces, and check surfaces.

4. Define the following Motion Parameters:

   • Approach & Retract

   • Clearance & UCS

   • Entry & End Points

   • Boundary Settings

   • Tolerance & Surf. Offset

   • Tool Trajectory

   • Stock

   • Optimizer

   • User Parameters

5. Define the Machine Parameters.

6. When finished, you can choose from the following Work Mode Dialog buttons:

   • Save & Close to suspend

   • Save & Calculate to execute

   • Save Original

   • Cancel

These options are also available on the Procedure popup submenu.

Note: To automate the Cleanup procedure, choose Remachine sub selection Cleanup.
