Drill > - Legacy Drill 3X, 4X, 5X

Create standard cycles for drilling operations. Drill procedures can be 3, 4, or 5-axis.

1. For Technology, choose Drill as the main selection and Drill as the subselection.

2. Choose 3X, 4X, or 5X.

3. Choose the appropriate cutter.

4. Define drill points. In 4 and 5-axis toolpaths, you can define the drill orientation.

4. Define the following Motion Parameters:

   • Drill Parameters

   • Depth Parameters

   • Drill Retract

   • Stock (for 3X drilling only)

   • User Parameters

5. Define the Machine Parameters.

6. When finished, you can choose from the following Work Mode Dialog buttons:

   • Save & Close to suspend

   • Save & Calculate to execute

   • Save Original

   • Cancel
