Step 6 - Cursor Properties

In Cimatron, the mouse cursor changes depending on the function being used, as shown in this table:

Selects an open or closed Solid Object.

Selects a face.

Selects an edge.

Selects a spline, line, or any other curve.

Selects a composite curve.

Selects a sketch.

Selects a plane.

Selects a UCS.

Selects "Other" mechanism. When selecting an entity, release the mouse button and wait until the cursor changes to the Select Other mechanism as shown. Hidden or adjacent entities can now be picked by moving the cursor appropriately.

Selects an endpoint of a curve or edge.

Selects the midpoint of a line, circle arc or ellipse.

Selects the center point of a line, circle arc or ellipse.

Selects a point close to a curve.

Selects a point close to a face.

Selects an intersection point.

Selects a piercing point.

Selects a Key In point.

Selects a point on the Screen.
