Step 8 - The Selection Filter
With the aid of the selection filter, it is possible to select the types and attributes of geometry available for selection. The filter can be accessed via the Selection Filter icon, and individual filters can be accessed via the shortcut filter barshortcut filter bar.
Move the cursor to the top of the graphics pane to display the shortcut toolbars.

Click the Filter icon and configure the Entity, Points, and Attributes selection filters.

In the Selection Filter dialog, select the Point checkbox (1) and click on the Points tab (2) to enable the points filter.

Click the Attributes tab (1), then click on Colors (2) to enable the color filter.

The rightmost tab in the Selection Filter dialog is assigned to the Set Filter.
