Customizing Toolbars and Menus
Access: Open this function from one of the following locations:
-
Select View > Customize > Customize Toolbars & Menus from the menu bar.
-
Right-click anywhere in the menu bar or toolbar and select Customize Toolbars & Menus.
Customize Cimatron toolbars and menus, as required, so that functions that you use more often are more readily accessible.
The Cimatron menus and toolbars can be customized so that you can display or hide any number of functions or commands, menus, and toolbars and define which functions appear in each menu, toolbar, and guide bar.
In addition, you can create your own customizable menus and toolbars containing any selection of commands or functions. The changes made to the menu bar are saved for each file type (Part, Assembly, Drafting, or NC Manufacturing).
Note: Menus, toolbars, and guide bars can be saved as Customization Profiles into a *.cui file that can be distributed to other users. These Customized Profiles can then be loaded by users to achieve a standardized working environment.
When the Customization function is invoked, the system is in Customization Mode, which means that all the above mentioned customization operations are possible. Menu customization can only be performed while in Customization mode; however, some toolbar customization can be done while not in Customization Mode, such as:
Changing the setting of a toolbar from a double to a single row, and vice versa.
Dragging toolbars to another location, whether horizontal or vertical docking.
When the customization is invokedinvoked , the Customize Toolbars & Menus dialog is displayed, enabling numerous customization options:
