Line
: Two Points
Access: Open this function from one of the following locations:
-
Select Wireframe > Main Tools > Line from the menu bar.

Select Curves > Line from the following Die Design Guides: Strip Design.
Create a line or chain of lines between picked points.

Practice: Press the button below to open Cimatron with a practice ELT file similar to that used to create the movie (if the relevant feature already exists in the ELT file, you can either edit it or delete it and create a new feature). |

Required Step 1

Pick the start and end points of the required line.

Pick the line end point

The Single / Chain toggle option is displayed. Select the appropriate option.
Single
If the Single option is selected, the line will be created. Additional lines can then be created.
Chain
If Chain is selected, after picking the 3rd point, the Open/Close toggle button is activated allowing the chain to remain open or closed by connecting the 1st and last points picked.

Click OKOK
or ApplyApply
in the Feature Guide to complete the function.
When completed, the Line feature will appear in the Feature Tree.
