Catalog Menu: Create Mechanism Assembly Tools
Access: Open this group of functions from the following location:

Select Catalog > Create Mechanism Assembly from the menu bar. Select the required function.
This group of functions is used to define the Mechanism Assembly. These function are available in the Assembly environment (activate an assembly in the Assembly tree).
The following functions are available in this group:

Define alternative parts in the Mechanism Assembly. These are parts that can be interchanged with one another when loading the assembly from the catalog. |

Set the catalog filtering relations between components in the Mechanism Assembly. |

Define formulas in the Mechanism Assembly, based on the dimensions of the parts in the assembly. |

|
Define the Main Part in the Mechanism Assembly. |

Set the Parent/Child relations in the Mechanism Assembly. This enables you to create groups of parts that will be suppressed/unsuppressed together. It will also determine the "direction" of Catalog Relations between the parts. |

|
Save the assembly as a Mechanism Assembly master in a catalog. This creates a Mechanism Assembly from an assembly of catalog parts. |
