Auxiliary Contours

Access: Open this function from the following location:

First switch from the NC to the CAD environment, then select Wireframe > Modify Curves > Auxiliary Contours from the menu bar.

Modify an Auxiliary Contour (PolyLinePolyLinea sequence of points joined together as one entity) created in the Numerical Control (NC) application. In NC, the PolyLine entity is used as the output contour of the new NC procedures. These contours represent intermediate results of the NC algorithms and can be used as input for other NC procedures.

Notes:

This function is only displayed if an Auxiliary Contour was previously created in the NC application.
This function is only relevant to NC users who wish to modify a PolyLine created in the NC environment.
To access this function, first switch from the NC to the CAD environment and then run the function.

General Interaction

The following image shows the Feature Guide for Auxiliary Contours.

Tip: You can open the Feature Guide at any time by right-clicking the mouse in the graphic display area.

Required Step 1 : Pick a single PolyLine to edit.

Required Step 2 : Add, Edit, Remove, or Move PolyLine points.

Optional Step 1 : Set the PolyLine as either Open or Closed. If Open, define the location of the open segment.
