General Preferences > Colors and Styles

Access: Invoke this function from one of the following locations:

Navigate to General > Colors and Styles.

Define the default colors for the background, and when displaying wireframe, the highlighted and selected entities throughout Cimatron. In addition, you can also select the line style that is displayed when showing hidden edges and the opacity of highlighted faces.

The Colors and Styles dialog is displayed.

  1. Define the default colors, as follows:

Background Color

Define a uniform background color or a different color for each file type (Part, Assembly, etc.) within Cimatron.

If the Gradient checkbox is ON , set the gradient color and whether to flip the gradient color direction.

Gradient default = OFF .

Monochrome Wireframe

Set the colors that are used to define Monochrome Wireframe operations within Cimatron. This enables you select the color of the part in Wireframe mode (including both the visible and hidden edges).

In addition, you can also select the line style that is displayed when showing hidden edges.

To display entities using the parameters defined in this section, select the Switch to Monochrome while in Wireframe Rendering Mode option in the Preferences > General > Display dialog.

Highlight and Select

Set the colors that are used to define Highlight and Select operations within Cimatron.

 

Display Jagged Edges

Define the default setting for displaying jagged or smooth (anti-aliased) edges on diagonal lines. When this checkbox is marked , the smoothing of edges (anti-aliasing) in the system is disabled. This may improve clarity, for example, when checking if a line is horizontal / vertical. See Display Jagged Edges.

Default = OFF

  1. Press the appropriate approval option.
