Surface Milling - Legacy Procedures > Finish Radial Cut

Rough surface pocketing. Remove material from enclosed regions by following the shape of part surfaces.

1. For Technology, choose Surface Milling as the main selection, and Legacy Procedures > Finish Radial Cut as the subselection.

2. Choose the appropriate cutter.

3. Define the part and stock contours, part surfaces, and part2 surfaces / check surfaces.

4. Define the following Motion Parameters:

   • Approach & Retract

   • Clearance & UCS

   • Entry & End Points

   • Boundary Settings

   • Tolerance & Surf. Offset

   • Tool Trajectory

   • Stock

   • Optimizer

   • User Parameters

5. Define the Machine Parameters.

6. When finished, you can choose from the following Work Mode Dialog buttons:

   • Save & Close to suspend

   • Save & Calculate to execute

   • Save Original

   • Cancel
