Present Single Color Set Names |
If a face is in a set, display the name of the set while hovering over the face. This option uses the Single Color Criteria Sets and Load Sets functionality to display the set name. This option is useful where you use color-coded sets for a specific meaning. Constant color palettes can be defined (using the Single Color Criteria Set), they can then be easily applied to files (using the Load Sets option) and then the meaning of each color (the set name) can be displayed while hovering over the face (using the Present Single Color Set Names option). Create files with "single color criteria sets" representing the desired color palettes, then load these sets into an existing file. If the Present Single Color Set Names option is invoked, when hovering over a face belonging to one (or more) of the sets, the set name(s) are displayed in a popup. This option can either be invoked via the Sets popup menu or via the menu: View > Settings > Present Single Color Set Names. |
Rename Set |
Enter a new name for the Set. |
Retrieve from Archive |
Same as Detach Entities (above). The Archive is a predefined Set containing auxiliary geometry. This option is dimmed if no geometry is picked. |
Select Entities |
Select all the visible entities in the Set. |
Show |
Show the geometry in the Set. |
Show from Selected Sets |
This option lets you preview only the Sets selected in the Sets Tab when selecting Show |
Sort Sets Alphanumerically |
Sort sets by Set name in standard alphanumeric order. This is a finite operation and does not set a default for subsequent additions. |
