Remachine - Legacy Procedures > Along Contour Vertical + All On Surface

Access:

  1. Create a procedure.

  2. For Technology, choose Remachine as the main selection, and Legacy Procedures > Along Contour Vertical + All On Surf. as the subselection.

Create alternating passes, tangent to the milling surface. This allows for true Climb or Conventional milling. In addition, approach and retract motions are surface tangent arcs, providing smooth approach and retract.
In Along Contour Vertical + All On Surface, all surfaces are milled on surface. In addition, the vertical areas are also milled in Constant Z down steps.

Create the Along Contour Vertical + All On Surface procedure

See Creating a Procedure for a general explanation.

  1. For Technology, choose Remachine as the main selection, and Legacy Procedures > Along Contour Vertical + All On Surf. as the subselection.

  2. Choose the appropriate cutter.

  3. Define the contours, part surfaces, and check surfaces.

  4. Define the following Motion Parameters:

  5. Define the Machine Parameters.

  1. When finished, you can choose from the following Work Mode Dialog buttons:

    • Save & Close to suspend

    • Save & Calculate to execute

    • Save Original

    • Cancel

These options are also available on the Procedure popup submenu.
