Electrode Preferences > Base

Access: Invoke this function from one of the following locations:

Navigate to Electrode > Base.

Define the default settings for different electrode base types.

The following defaults can be set:

Base Offset	Define whether or not, by default, to offset the electrode base from its blank and to set a default offset value.
Base Rounding	Define whether or not, by default, to round the electrode base and/or to round electrode simple step extensions and set a default round value.
Base Type	Define the default electrode base type.
Cylindrical Base Marking	Define the parameter markings for a cylindrical base. These defaults are used when defining the marking for a circular blank.
Rectangular Base Marking	Define the parameter markings for a rectangular base. These defaults are used when defining the marking for a rectangular blank.
Shaped Base	Defines the default Z Shift parameter value of the Shaped Base. This parameter sets the size of the Shaped Base for the blank.
Stepped Base	Defines the default Offset and Height parameter values of the Stepped Base. These parameters set the height of the step and the size of the step offset for the blank.
