Advanced Export
Access: Select one of the following methods:

Click the
button from the toolbar.

Select File > Export > To External File > (Select File or Pick Entities) from the menu bar.
When the Export dialog is displayed, select the appropriate option from the Files of Type field.
The Expand button displays an extension of the Export dialog that shows additional conversion parameters. This displays the Advanced dialog. The Advanced dialog for Export Modeling and Export Drafting is different; Drafting can be exported to the following file types: PFM, IGES, DXF and DWG.
This dialog extension contains the following tabs:
- General: Displays general file conversion parameters.
- Parameters: Displays file conversion parameters that are specific to the file type being converted.
Notes:

For explanations of parameters in the Advanced dialog, see the appropriate file type dialog (for example IGES Export, SAT Export, etc.).

To define default conversion settings, use the Data Interface Preferences.
Press thebutton (on the top right corner of the Export dialog) as a short cut to the Preferences Editor and navigate to General > Data Interface.

Press the Save Settings button
to create customized parameter sets. This saves time by allowing you to predefine and save parameter values for certain import or export operations, and then enabling you to "recall" these parameter values by selecting the appropriate setting.

Pressing the Expand button
displays the additional parameters and also toggles the Expand button to the Collapse button
. Press the Collapse button to hide the additional parameters.
