Access:
Select

menu button from the Style Settings toolbar:
The Color Picker is used for defining colors from the color palette and is displayed (in collapsed mode) in the toolbar when a file is open. Open the Expanded Color Picker dialog to see all color groups, set which of them will be visible in the collapsed mode, edit colors, and define your own colors.
The Color Picker and the Expanded Color Picker contain sections of colors, with each section fulfilling a specific purpose. However, any color selected from any section will color any currently selected entity.
The Color Picker is used throughout the system whenever color definition is required (including trees and dialogs).

The Expanded Color Picker displays all the sections of the color picker, and each section can be collapsed and expanded. The following sections appear: The Standard Colors section shows 16 standard colors. The User Colors section shows rows of 10 colors. Colors within this section can be dragged to another position in the section. The Recent Colors section shows up to 2 rows of 10 colors. Any recent color that is added is listed first. When 20 colors are reached, the oldest colors are pushed out. The Sets Colors section shows any number of existing single color sets in rows of 10. If there are no single color sets, this section is collapsed and grayed out. The Advanced section enables you to select any color and save and load color palettes. When a color is selected in another section, it is also displayed in the Advanced section.
In this section, define a color and select one of the following operations:
Saving and Loading Color Schemes:
Color schemes are stored as CPS (Color Palette Scheme) files in the following folder:
...\ProgramData\Cimatron\Cimatron\2026.0\Data\Schemes\Colors\Color_Palette
For each new file, the User and Recent Color sections are created from the default CPS in the above folder. |
Displaying Color Sections in the Toolbar: Pins
Each section has a pin that can be Pinned or Unpinned. The pinned sections are those that are displayed on the toolbar (by default, the Standard and User Colors sections). Only two pins can be turned ON at a time. Turning ON a pin will turn OFF the "oldest" pin (the pin that was turned ON one before last). The pins are displayed on the right of, and adjacent to, each section.

The new name will appear as the tooltip for that color in the current file and is saved with it if the color scheme is saved (see above).
Deleting
Colors in the User and Recent Color sections can be deleted. Right-click the required color in one of these sections and select the Delete option. The selected color is deleted from the specific section.
