Automatic Magazine Numbers Dialog 
Access: Open this function from one of the following locations:
The Cutters and Holders dialog (or the minimized version - the Select Only Mode):

When not editing or creating a procedure, select NC-Process > Cutters > Cutters from the menu bar or select Cutters
in the NC Guide Toolbar.

While editing or creating a procedure, use one of the following methods (in both methods, the Select Only Mode is displayed):

In the Advanced Mode, click on the cutter name in the Procedure Parameter Table.

In the Wizard Mode, select the cutter button.

In the Process Manager, click on the cutter name in the procedure row (in this case, the Select Only Mode is displayed).
Automatically define the magazine numbers of a selected group of cutters in the Cutter Table of the currently active NC file.
The Automatic Magazine Numbers dialog is displayed (see Dialog parameters/buttons).
The new numbering is calculated only for the selected rows and is assigned to the cutters in the Cutter Table of the currently active NC file, when you exit this dialog by press the OK button .

Dialog parameters
Show all cutters / |
Select the appropriate radio button to display:
By default, the Show all cutters radio button is selected each time the dialog opens. |
First Magazine No: |
Set the first magazine number for the selected cutter(s). By default, this value is defined as "1" each time the dialog opens. See the Renumber example below. |
Increment Magazine No. |
Set the magazine number increment for the automatic numbering. By default, this value is defined as "1" each time the dialog opens. See the Renumber example below. |
Renumber selected rows |
Recalculate the automatic magazine numbers for the selected cutters. The automatic numbering is recalculated each time the Renumber selected rows button is pressed. See the Renumber example below. |
Move Up / |
Move the selected rows one location up or down as appropriate. |
Renumber example
In the example below, some cutters have been selected in the cutter table. These cutters are to have their magazine numbers changed automatically. Note the first magazine number and the defined increment.
When the Renumber selected rows button is pressed, the magazine numbers in the selected rows are renumbered starting with the defined first magazine number and then in the defined increments.
Note that the edited rows are marked with the icon in the Status field, as explained in Cutter Table.
